This was my very first introduction to Next Mile Meals. My husband and I did a Labor Day Weekend backpack. We packed a couple low carb tortillas and the sausage scramble before a 10+ mile day above 5,000’. It cooked up perfectly- not too much water to have to deal with after cooking. Healthy sausage and cheese to egg ratio made for a hearty and delicious breakfast burrito that kept us full until the afternoon. I am low carb but my husband isn’t but we are both convinced that the quality of these meals is soo much better than other high carb alternatives. Highly recommend this delicious breakfast - with or without a tortilla.
This was quick and easy to prepare I felt like I could have eaten a bit more especially for the price. But the food was good.
