After an intense hike, sometimes all you crave is warm comfort food to fill you up and keep you going. This hearty meal packs in the protein with loads of savory chicken, and keeps it keto with broccoli and cheese in a deliciously creamy sauce. You’ll feel like you're eating a home-cooked casserole out on the trail, and you won't even have to make an appearance at Susan’s annual potluck to get it.
Net Carbs: 6g
freeze-dried white chicken, freeze-dried cheddar cheese (pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes, annatto [vegetable color]), heavy cream powder (sweet cream solids), freeze-dried broccoli, salt, paprika
Taste was good although the 6 oz of water per instructions was not enough to rehydrate the meal.
This is pretty good. I don’t think anything can beat their Italian Marinara. Like the other chicken (curry) recipe, it must stay closed longer than 10 minutes or the chicken doesn’t dehydrate. Love the broccoli cheese mix.
Good easy keto meal
The taste was not anything to write home about but was okay for a freeze-dried meal, but the chicken never got completely soft. I used the correct amount of boiling water and even let it sit for an extra 10 minutes (for a total of 20 minutes) but the chicken was still a little tough.
